Maximum impact style from two dons of the D&B scene. Micky Finn & Nicky Blackmarket ply their wares across two CDs and make sure they don’t leave a body standing. As it states, this is strictly anthems, all the way, so there’s old school attitude and plenty of well-worn favourites, such as the shivers inducing rush of “Sweet Vibrations” from DMS & The Boneman X, the pure funk of “Dark Stranger” from Boogie Times Tribe, or the bounce of Pascal’s “P-Funk Era”. Expect also classic hotness from Roni Size, Tom & Jerry, DJ SS, Shy FX, Adam F, A-Sides, Bad Company, etc, representing just about every amen permutation from the history of D&B along the way. Truth is, much of this material was eons ahead of it’s time first time around, so it sounds even fresher now. Factor in the duo’s deck melting wizardry and you’ve got yourself a damn near indispensable package for junglists old and new.
