House Music With Love is a Swedish label that has gotten off to a great start. Now the label serves up a tidy three track affair that pulls together three different artists for one track each. The result is a compelling EP that really is full of great moods and grooves.
For me the choice cut is A Place Called Myanmar, which is from Malmo man Alex Moda. He is someone with a few credits to his name already but the chances are this new track will really win him plenty of new fans. It is broody and deep, with free flowing synth moving about with a sombre air. Twinkling star melodies light up the night sky and rubber drums tick below to make this a classic deep house affair. Josefine Hellstrom Hansson also impresses with Water Cave Master, which is full of water synths, slithering chords and jittery percussive patterns. The other cut of the three here is Nebulous, which is from Edgar Ariza and is the most upbeat and the lot. Trance chords and late night pads all work to get you grooving along in a tripped out, serene and soulful place and as such rounds out a great EP.
