SLAM
EKSPOZICIJA 04: COSMORAMA
EXPLICIT/MATRIX MUSIC

Just months after the fine ‘Nightdrive’ set, Slam pop the cork on another 80 minute journey through their current obsessions, this time on Umek’s label. The first two-thirds builds an amazing flow with minimal flavours turned like a funkometer pressure valve of as Stuart and Orde weave in the likes of Gaiser and Berg Nixon from Minus, Loco Dice’s remix of Layo & Bushwacka’s ‘Life2live’, Alex Under and Mike Shannon, before reaching a snare-crashing peak with Dominik Eulberg’s ‘Der Totenkopfschwarmer Im Benenstock’.  By then you think you’ve died and gone to heaven. After that it goes harder and darker with the likes of Beyer, Carola, Smith & Selway and before diversifying into electro and into Oliver Ho’s whispery ‘Light And dark Part8′. A final climax with Michel De Hey and the Separatists’ ‘Audiomer’ and it’s over. What a trip! This is a big year for Slam and Soma anyway with the 15th anniversary and 200th release. Trust them to throw such a tasty curve into the mix.
