A download-only compilation set up as a continuous mix, this brings together Tony Thomas’ work from the last year on both his Cubic labels. There are some cracking club tracks on offer here, with the spring-heeled boots of ‘Skipper’ standing out along with the heavier ‘Plazma’, complete with catchy vocal sample. Other biggies included are ‘Wibble Wobble’, the shifting electronics of ‘Silicont’ and the chunky mid tempo breaks of ‘Electrical’, with which the mix begins. Seemingly digitally mixed, this is a sound anthology of Thomas’s stripped back yet beefy delivery of house music, guaranteed to rock many a dancefloor.
