Such a great idea you wonder why more labels don’t follow this lead. Unfold Recordings have joined together with Fluid Ounce to present a DVD stuffed with over seven hours of new music, in both MP3 & Aiff format. It showcases 29 (!!) different artists across varying styles, from funk to down tempo, through broken beat, soul, jazz and pretty much anything else you can throw at a speaker. There’s a good balance between straight out dancefloor tracks and head-nodding vocal tunes, although there’s genuinely too much wealth to highlight any one individual artist. Independent labels as ever shining the light on modern music. There’s also an analog friendly 12″ sampler available too.
