Eddie Halliwell

The king of the Knights delivers again

Hey up Eddie, welcome back to DMCWORLD HQ. You are at the helm of the new Toolroom Knights album – when did you first sit up and take notice of Toolroom – what were the early tunes?

“I think I picked up on the label around 2005 with some of the early tracks coming from Mark Knight, Fedde Le Grande,  Superbass, Suckers DJs and Deepgroove.”

What are the highlights for you on the album?

“I’d have to say my own exclusive tracks for the album; a remix of Mark Knight and Tiesto’s ‘Beautiful World’ and my own track, ‘Rock This Place’.”

What is it about the Toolroom sound you love?

“The label is consistently good and I love the variety of artists on Toolroom.”

“In the Australian outback!”

Have you discovered any new clubs or territories you’ve enjoyed in recent months?

“Jager!”

Who is the most famous person on your mobile phone?

I’m not a celebrity stalker, but I have a few faces in my contacts!

Maddest festival story you’ve encountered?

“Not maddest, but I did my best ever stage dive at Future Music Festival in Perth. I dived a 3 metre space between the crowd and the stage perfectly landing safely in the arms of the crowd! Perfect 10 out 10 that one was!”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkE8sUTnGqU

How is the radio show going?

“Amazing – It’s now syndicated worldwide across 50 different countries – so the exposure is huge.”

And finally, what’s your favourite club in the world right now?
