Unrivaled Music chalk up the big 200 with a killer piano house track

Unrivaled Music (part of the Krafted Music Group) are championing their 200th release and with a track that’s absolutely exploding!  Salute The Floor is a killer piano house track, which has harnessed the very best of old school house music, with a nu-wave vibe, rinsed with killer mixes, including a heavyweight re-working from the rhythm master himself Steve Mac.  The release has gained major radio airplay in the UK from Capital Xtra and Kiss FM, and dance music’s finest are smashing it up, including Toolroom’s Mark Knight describing ‘Salute’ as the “biggest record in the world right now!”.

But it’s the vocals we’re interested in here. Ands who the hell is Beulah?

Hi Beulah, what’s your background?

I’ve sung and written tracks since I was young but only at 18 did I move to London to write professionally. I’ve lived and worked in Nashville, LA, London and Sydney. Stylistically I’ve released a few different tracks varying from Bluegrass, to Classical, to Trappy DnB. I love to change it up…

How did Salute The Floor come about and how did you get connected with Paul Sawyer (Soultrak) and Simon Sinfield (The Cloudshapers)?

Tim Lyall (Bloxbox) is a long standing friend of mine. We’ve collaborated some and he suggested a hook up with Paul and Simon… The rest, as they say…

The buzz surrounding Salute The Floor is huge! Have you been surprised by the reaction?

I wouldn’t say surprised because I think we all believed it to be a tune; but I’ve certainly been massively grateful for all the support we’ve had from other producers, djs and of course radio and press…

Who would be on your wish list for collaborations?  Any songwriters/singers or producers you aspire to work with?

It’s a bit left field but I think I’d love to hear a Hans Zimmer/ Beulah/ Soultrak/ The Cloudshapers collab!! It would be ethereal and epic but pumping cause no one does booming drums like Hans!

What’s been the best part so far with the build up of your first release with the Krafted Music team (Paul Sawyer & Darren Braddick)?

Again just the huge support we are receiving on a daily basis. The PR team have been fantastic and the radio backing we’ve been getting has been next to none. Paul and Darren are some of the nicest people I’ve worked with in the industry and that makes the difference in it being a good experience and an awesome one.

The label have announced that you’ve other releases lined up and maybe an album project? What can you tell us?

Yeah we are working on an album towards the end of the summer. It’s going to be a lot of fun. I’m looking forward to it…
