This summer for the best club night has been Cafe Ole at Space. I feel the artists are new and fresh and you have had some great live acts also like Ultra Nate, Dita Von Teese and the mix of the crowd from all over the globe, you have gay and straight and people of all colours and creeds. The dancers are so sexy and the entertaining live shows are a real sight to see. It is a great event to be a part of

I have a double feeling on this! I feel that if you have the money to spend then why not have VIP and spend a lot of money. This is good for the economy of Ibiza and the local people that live on the island. I remember when Pacha was the only club that had a VIP, now they are everywhere. But they would only be there is there was a need for them. But I do think that if Ibiza gets to expensive then you alienate the very people that really make the island great in the summer months. when there are more people on private tables and in VIPs than on the dancefloor, this is when the problems start that can never be reversed. I do think that it is the way that Ibiza is going now and I do not see that changing for a long time. Yes, I do think part of the spirit has gone, but I do not just think that it is because of the VIP element – there are many factors to how the island has changed over the years. Ibiza will always be there and will always be loved by millions of people around the globe expensive or not!

My favourite memory of the summer has to be when I was driving in my car and I heard my track “The Flight” being played on the radio station “Sonica FM”. That was such a big deal for me as this has never happened in the 24 years that I have been working in Ibiza. It just happened very randomly and I was not expecting it. It was such a lift for me. The only other time something like this happened was when Carl Cox played one of my tracks ‘The Voice’ on Azuli Records at the Opening Party in 2003 to a packed Space terrace. It was a great buzz to feel the love from the Ibiza family

My DJ would not be a big DJ as I feel they get enough glory, it would be one of the local guys. My DJ would be Jason Bye. Since I left ‘we-love…’ for Cafe Ole I think that he has done a great job in keeping my old stomping ground at ‘we-love…’ alive. The times that I have been there he always has the place rocking and plays great music, by sticking to his individual sound. When I played there I would like to think that I owned that terrace on a Sunday while I was playing beats, as Steve Lawler did years before me. But I think Jason is definitely running things now, as well as being a new dad he is playing at some great parties across Ibiza along with his residency at Mamb…he for me is keeping it real and playing great music and is a perfect representative for all the local DJs out there in Ibiza. Go Jason…” The Pied Piper”…
