Party/show of ADE?
The ADE DJ Cookoff is always fantastic fun. Great to see the DJs in a different setting, but still creating magic. The Vavox Stabat Mater at the Westerkerk was an incredibly intense experience. But to really get my groove on? Any of the Awakenings Nights.
Standout tracks you heard during ADE?
When I took circles around the Jordaan canals because we didn’t want to get out of the limo as the set playing on the radio was awesome. Sometimes it feels great to enjoy the music, unconditionally, without even knowing who the artist is.

Myself with Seth Troxler and Jonty Skruff…
Top100 DJ thoughts?
Credibility compromised. Dance music DNA completely disturbed. The DJ Mag rankings will never be the same again. And I say this, not because the people running it are compromised or corrupt, but I guess the constitution and the premise of the rankings are completely unfair to dance music and the talent of the DJs.
Party animal of the week?
Without a doubt, Seth Troxler. To take the time out to cook a 3 course meal for 100 homeless people is my kind of party. He’s a great guy, with a big heart.
Why is ADE so important in the dance community?
It is the perfect balance of soul and science. Spiritually uplifting and scientifically correct.
