“Marco Loco from Space. This guy is totally crazyi when he’s mixing. He has very great skills and always plays quality House music.”
Why is Ibiza still the best party location in the world?
“Beautiful beaches, gorgeous women and certainly the biggest clubs in the world. People go there only to have fun and partying everytime! What more can we ask for?”
Ibiza is now split straight down the middle with serious DJs spinning quality house and techno on one side, and DJs playing the big room bangers on the other. Discuss…
“Put it this way; every Jack has his Jill. My heart steers towards house music but sometimes it’s nice to open our minds by listening to other kind of music.”
What new party caused the biggest splash in their debut summer this year? And why?
“I discovered Ushuaia last year. The sound system is nice and I love to partying on the beach.”
Favourite restaurant and beach in Ibiza?
“I’m a sushi addict.The best I ate was at Sands Beach, Playa d’en Bossa.”
Do you think the 123 Rocktronic Festival that featured the likes of Lenny Kravitz, Elton John, Sting, David Guetta and Tiesto this year is an important addition to the Ibiza summer, or do you think it is a case of one too many party on an already bulging season?
“Ibiza is famous for clubs not for festivals. I think it should stay like it is.”
What is the one record that will always remind you of Ibiza?
“Kathy Brown – ‘Happy People’ (Knee Deep Mix)”
Best venue in Ibiza and why?
“Cafe Mambo simply because you can see the most fabulous sunset on earth with a good Mojito, cheers!”
A lot of money has been spent on the island in recent years improving things, what do you think is the biggest improvement on the island?
“The TV weatherman! The sun shines everyday in Ibiza.”
What nationality are the craziest people on the dancefloor?
“I met people who certainly did not come from earth, so…E.T.”
Breakthrough artist of 2012?
“Solomun.What a producer !”
If you had to pick one person to go out clubbing with in Ibiza, who would it be?
“My brother for sure. He’s the only person who can follow me to the end of the night and then more…”
And finally, tell us about your first trip to the white isle…
“It was in 2010. I went there for a holliday and played in few place in San Antonio. I totally fell in love with this island.”
