What’s The Best Night Out You’ve ever Had?
Remix Night 3 years ago at Cargo, in east London. Our traditional charity show for Shelter. This one was with Wall Of Sound, and featured a now legendary A to Z of Wall of Sound/Remix DJs, each playing their favourite tune. It was a remarkable feat getting everyone in and on time, imagine a club night with 3 DJs, we had 26 of the f*ckers, Arthur Baker to Zoot Woman (Jacques Lu Conte), Soulwax, Coldcut, Lottie, Kahunas, Erol Alkan (just – after I dropped a record for E when he was late), GoHomeproductions, Freelance Hellraiser, un-fucking-believable. A whole bunch of people mobbed me afterwards and the older ones said it was the best night of the year, the younger ones said it was the best night of their lives. I’m with the younger ones.

What’s Your Favourite Club?
You have to look to the Spanish ones, they know how to throw a party there. I love Manumission, obviously, biggest club in the world and playing the main room is a buzz I’ll never forget, but pound for pound, my favourite is Razzmatazz, in Barcelona. 5000 people, 1500-2000 in the main room, and some very cool outer rooms and bars. It doesn’t get going till 2 or 3am and has the coolest crowd who rock until 8am. They love their British indie/dance music there and they’re so savvy. Its a fair reflection of a beautiful city, the best city in Europe.

What’s Your Favourite Record Of All-time?
That’s too hard… this week, it’s Joy Division ‘Love will Tear Us Apart’. Last week it was ‘Boys Don’t Cry by the Cure. Next week it may be ‘Outta Space’ by the Prodigy.

What Record Can’t You Stand?
I did such an awful interview with Muse once, Matt Bellamy behaved like such a c*nt, that all Muse records are ruined for me now. Shame, cos that last album would have been right up my street.

What Record Did You Lose Your Virginity Too?
The Sisters Of Mercy – Temple Of Love. No pun intended.

What Was The Last Record You Bought?
I bought the first LCD Soundsystem album for the fifth time, another present for someone. I love that band so much.

Name Three Of Your Biggest Influences…..
Liam Howlett/The Prodigy, DJ Tim/Utah Saints/Beat Vandals and Adam Freeland. I have a deep love and respect for these people, and all of them have influenced me hugely as a DJ and producer, and Liam is majorly responsible for my dance music awakening.

Who Would Play You In EDDY TEMPLE MORRIS The Movie’
Keanu Reeves in the Hollywood version, he has the right blend of swarthy looks and doufusness. If it was a lower budget britflick,  I guess Louis Theroux, because people keep stopping me and telling me I look like him.

What’s Your Dream?
I already did it, to go on tour with the Prodigy. That done, to make a Losers album, (Losers is my Remix moniker) and have old friends like Gary Lightbody, Brian Molko and Danny MacNamara, and newer friends like The Infadels and Delays sing on it.

How Do You Escape?
It used to be weed, but I gave up all drugs over 2 years ago, so now it’s the all too rare weekend off with my girlfriend, somewhere by the sea, and maybe a nice glass of wine is about as wild as I get these days.

What Is Your Favourite Possession?
My car, it’s not very flash, but more a low profile wolf in sheeps clothing, which I like. It’s a black saab 9-3 sports saloon that’s really comfortable over long distance and pretty damn quick. The  sat-nav is a godsend and gets me home from gigs in faraway places. I tend to drive to and from everywhere myself, which gives me a chance to catch up on my album listening.

What Is Your Life Philosophy?
‘My Candle Burns At Both Ends, It Will Not Last The Night, But, Ah My Foes, And Oh My Friends, It Gives A Lovely Light’ (Roald Dahl).

What’s In Your Pockets?
My wallet, my trusty Handspring Treo phone/organiser, an old tissue with a boots cherry sore throat lozenge stuck in it, 2.13 in change, an Xfm bottle opener/lighter thing, a postcard from COSH gallery in Berwick St, my keys, with my wonderful earplugs attached (the best money I ever spent, aside from that Polkadot, chocolate brown Pistol Panties Bikini for the missus), and a business card from an artist called Rory Dobner.

If You Were An Animal, What Animal and Why?
A cross between a White Tiger and a Peregrin Falcon, then I’d be the most beautiful animal on earth, capable of eating Mike Tyson for breakfast and able to fly at speeds of over 150 miles per hour.

You Are Having A Party, Whom Dead Or Alive Is On The Guest List?
It would have to be a house-of-the-dead party: Elvis Presley, Jimi  Hendrix, John Bonham, John Lennon, Jim Morrison, Brian Jones, Johnny Cash, Sid Vicious, Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, Jayne  Mansfield,  I think i’d have to relax my no drug rule for that one… you’d find me in the kitchen with Bob Marley.

When Was The Last Time You Embarrassed Yourself?
My girlfriend came back from France last year with a pot of Foie Gras (goose liver pate) which I’d never eaten because I despise the cruelty involved in making it. She persuaded me to try some, (she’s very persuasive, eyes of an owl and face of a Red Panda) with some very expensive, very strong wine, and champagne, and blackcurrant liquor – I’m not a big boozer- and I ate and drank so much that my body went into shock and i ended up in tears, like a drunk schoolboy, burbling and whimpering about how much I love her, in the most painfully unattractive way. Then helicopters. Then white out.

Tell Us Something That We Don’t Know About EDDY TEMPLE MORRIS.
I used to make the mad jingles and promos at Radio One in the 1990s, and subvert the listeners by getting people like Jacques Lu Conte, Adam Freeland and DJ Food on air through the back door, before they’d been played anywhere else, while producing bits and bobs for Chris Evans, Tim Westwood, Mary Anne Hobbs, Annie N, Whiley and Lamacq, Tong, Rampling, (all wonderful in their own ways) and even one or two of those fat, old-skool Radio One jocks that sounded like child molesters. And probably  were. Nonce-tastic!
