An internationally renowned and respected DJ, Deli G is best known for his longstanding ‘The Touch’ mix show on Bristol’s Galaxy FM, and now on BCFM, as well as being hugely influential in the city’s clubbing and house music evolution. From playing parties with the infamous Wild Bunch Crew’ (later known as the world famous ‘Massive Attack’) to legendary sessions at the Players Night Club in Bath alongside close friend, D.J Lynx, from the ground-breaking outfit, Smith & Mighty, Deli is part of the city’s clubland fabric. He’s played at the Moon Club (now super club, Lakota) and the long-running and ever-popular Thekla nightclub on a boat, guested on BBC Radio 1 for the Danny Rampling show, and picked up 2 International awards for Best Overseas Radio Show, including one at Miami’s hugely influential Winter Music Conference and a second at the Billboard Summit in New York. Whether he’s working on compilation albums, radio show mixes or special features, Deli G continues to have his finger on the city’s musical pulse and on the international stage.
