DJ Joern Kleinschmager and producer Nikklas Worgt revisit the three Audio volumes of DJ tools they’ve released since 2007 while going back ten years to their earliest sessions, plugging into the essence of electronic dance music in the process. From slashing metro-chug [‘Emphasis’] to bleepy scuttlers [‘1999’], plus the three radioactive skeleton edits of the ‘Audio’ albums, it’s a fascinating exercise and, also coming as three twelves, an even more essential part of the DJs’ tool-box.
