BARE FOOT
BARE FOOT
ONE TWO

Bare Foot is the singer Sam Obernik having a few swifty’s in the early hours whilst working with producer Tommy D. Together they‚ve covered a selection of their favourite club cuts & done them in their own cabaret style. On the hip hop front Grandmaster Melle Mel’s ‘White Lines’ opens the curtains, in a smokey Jazz club basement & Run DMC’s ‘It’s Like That’
gets the Go-Go dancers swinging & turns the joint into a happening. Other highlights include the boogie interpretation of Raw Silk’s disco classic ‘Do It To The Music’, & the beautifully melancholic string infused takes on Delacy‚s ‘Hideaway’ & Underworld’s ‘Born Slippy’. Bare Foot have really stuck their necks out here & taken a big gamble, but overall they‚ve pulled it off big time. I never realised what great songs some of these cuts are.
