Sharam
Get Wild
Ultra

Sharam’s debut artist album is a double-disc affair, laden with starry guests such as Tommy Lee and Daniel Bedingfield. But while it occasionally delivers in the high octane house stakes, there is a fair bit of cheese here when you compare to what he used to do with Dubfire as Deep Dish. Make no mistake, ‘PATT’ (‘Party All The Time’) is a great tune, but the rap included next to it on the album version is rather embarrassing – the chorus is all this tune needs really. ‘She Came Along’ fares much better, while Sharam also evokes a good bit of Ennio Morricone in the opening and some of the subsequent vocal tracks. Some of this is undoubtedly fun, with some sharp riffing and bass lines applied, but over two discs the novelty wears off if you’re listening straight through without a break.
