For over 15 years I’ve been banging on about this bloke from Frankfurt called Sven Vath, witnessing him in action on many occasions, frolicking in the latest musical marvels to erupt from his labels and studios and now always looking forward to an annual consolidation of the infamously bananas activity going on his Cocoon club which is truly splattering the island of Ibiza. Two CDs capturing the spirit of both label and club with names like Cobblestone Jazz, Solid Groove, Jamie Jones and Tiefschwarz representing the biggies and, from a personal angle, deep and groin-grabbing items from Joris Voorn [‘Man Reasons’], Deetron [‘The After Life’] andŠah fuck it. You know it’s a belter and could also kickstart some great memories of you’ve been to the club.
