BREAKS CO-OP
THE SOUND INSIDE
PARLOPHONE

Radio 1’s Zane Lowe is an integral part of this New Zealand trio, and he seems to have done pretty well at keeping it a secret! The band have had a Stone Roses style break between albums one and two, this one following up 1997’s ‘Reefer’, an electronica album. ‘The Sound Inside’ is more acoustic and earthy, introspective but having a carefree nature that makes it an ideal candidate for smoky late night listening, with new member Andy Lovegrove proving to be a versatile vocalist. The melodies will subtly worm their way into your consciousness, and try as you might, you won’t be able to get rid of them!
