Life would be pretty dull without Jazz (wouldn’t it!). London DJ Kev Beadle has been charged with assembling this first-rate collection of the imprints finer moments which features fine, exhilarating instrumentals such as Terumasa Hino’s ‘Send Me Your Feelings’ alongside the up-tempo Latin soulfulness of Helen Merrill ‘Vera Cruz’. Formed by MMO Music Group founder Irv Kratka with producer Eric Kriss, Inner City Records existed for just over a decade and with songs of the standard of Judy Roberts’ ‘Never Was Love’ this arrives just in time for the hot summer evenings ahead.
