It’s the time of year when those of us stuck in the UK go green with envy at those heading out for sun, sea and partying in Miami. Thankfully Defected and Azuli are on hand to provide the silver lining to the cloud with their pick of the forthcoming summer anthems, and to their credit not a single track is duplicated between compilations. Azuli have been soundtracking Miami for a good six years now, so their selection is reliably on the button, even if a few past hits are included from Mylo and C64. Defected on the other hand canvassed a selection of DJs for their ‘Most Rated’, and the tracks speak for themselves – Faze Action, Sunburst Band and Ferrer & Sydenham providing the essential moments. Get both if you can, and stay well ahead of the pack.
