Rivera is a good addition to the Masters team, and demonstrates his versatility by knocking out an excellent pair of mixes that major on deep grooves. Cool house is the predominant style on the first disc, with Klement Bonelli and LDOE particularly good, but it’s the second CD of brooding, bass heavy material that really impresses and puts this up a step. Rivera’s own ‘Just Won’t Do’, complemented with Robert Owens vocal, is beefed up by tracks from Seamus Haji, Tigerskin and a masterful blend of Rodamaal and Klement Bonelli that bothers the woofers big time. Once again the ‘Masters’ series delivers, all killer and no filler.
