Dean Marriott should see his reputation grow with this release. Don’t be deceived by the relatively minimal opening though, as once he throws in the big Mark Knight collaboration ‘Colombian Soul’ and the James Mowbray co-effort ‘Time Fades Away’, mix one is up and flying. As is so often the case CD2 comes out fighting straight away, and a more aggressive approach covers two Bassnectar tracks, the new Tim Deluxe ‘Let The Beats Roll’ and a fine closing trio of Ramirez productions, in league with Darren Emerson, Dimitry Bobrov and Mark Knight again, with ‘Throb’. Two strong house mixes.
