This is the third in this series from UK imprint Mettle Music and in my humble opinion the best to date. Featuring a heavy Jazz influence rather than adhering to a dogmatic approach this collection of music injects both passion and a sense of good times into the affair. While some ‘Jazz’ can feel over programmed and even, dare I say it, bland this fairs well with a diverse selection of beats and rhythms keeping things vibrant. Out of the handful of standout tracks are Brooklyn Soul Boys fiery Jazz-funk workout ‘For green jazzmatazz’ and Rhythm Slaves hard-hitting ‘Break my bite’.
