Slip n Slide have clearly got the formula just right by combining their Soul and Jazz ‘In the house’ series into the one package, and also by enlisting the talents of France’s DJ Rico to mix it all altogether. The playlist is pretty much faultless as I’m sure you’ll agree as Mr.V’s commanding ‘Jus’ Dance’, King Britt’s ‘Our Time’ and Fred Everything’s ultra-funky ‘Friday’ all go to make this a quality production. In the days of bland, commercially orientated compilations ‘In the house’ speaks for itself.
