This crowd-pleaser has proven itself to be the delight of its listeners since its original release in 1980. This modernized dancefloor version of George Benson’s ‘Give Me The Night’, renamed ‘Gimme The Night’, has been recreated courtesy of multi-award-winning producer David Anthony, who sticks closely to the original but adds just enough extra pump for the club. David steps up his production game on this release with the help of vocalist Dwayne Pugh, whose previous debut release on Planet Hum, ‘You Can’t Stop Me Now’, had dance floor revellers deep in their groove. Together they bring forth an outstanding rendition of this classic that is sure to be played for many days (& nights) to come.
