Fresh from the success of the last Industry release with the massive thousand miles, David Carbone is taking no prisoners as he teams up with the Kubiks to conjure up this wicked little 12. ’Frisco Disco’ sets the mood right from the intro with well formulated Rhodes keys and low slung organs reminiscent of end of night parties in the middle of summer, as the bass kicks in like a cool breeze the sexy vox glibes in and out of the orchestra of sounds creating sweet and mellow vibes this one’s been getting a lot of support from key scene players. ’My Thing’ on the flip comes in nice and easy again starting with the Rhodes alongside with live sounding instruments and effects that build into rolling drum breaks, watch for the breakdown as the tempo changes to 135 making you think you’ve walked in the wrong room then all of a sudden the drop comes in and its good vibes all the way.
