German HOSH continues to serve up tracks from his killer recent LP. It was a free to download double disc effort that showed him at his emotional and deep house and tech best. Now come four more cuts from it, all on his own newly minted fryhide label.
Island Blues goes first and is eight spine tingling minuet of tender and emotive deep house. The chords and melodies are beautiful things that have you rue the loss of a loved on and the percussion is silky smooth. Ocean Data then drives on that bit more, with rubbery drums and bass all getting you into the groove. Again the synth craft is excellent and this is the sort of tune to take you to the next level. Fratello Mio is a more spaced out cut with a cosmos of keys and chords unfolding like a starry night sky as rolling drums smooth you along below. Last of all is Fighting the Deamons, a dark, more upright tune with thundering bass and watery sound design that really pop. Once again then these are for more magic cuts.
