It’s time to blow out the candles for Buzzin’ Fly, who celebrate their 50th single with this heavyweight collaboration. It’s a celebration of what the increasingly influential London label does best, a beautiful piece of vocal house with a quality production. Ben Watt and Stimming secure a wonderfully deep drum sound, with woozy keyboards offsetting Julia Biel’s smoky, unaffected vocals. The ‘Sunset’ remix is relatively mellow, while the ‘Sunrise’ version has a noticeably fuller kick drum, slightly sharper synths and some well crafted atmospherics, making a hypnotic groove perfect for peak time. As if that wasn’t enough, the limited edition release comes with gold foil and a double gatefold, which subconsciously goes with the music. A special nocturnal treat.
