The second release, following on from last year’s debut, sees another two hot tracks perform just for the dancefloor on this infamous white label series from you know who. Side A’s, ‘Troubled Times’ strips down to essentials with a bass rattling production that not only is funk- fuelled, via its rather sassy percussive loops, but also rousing with its hooky vocal edits and punchy synth chords pointing skyward. Next, ‘Stamper Square’ replays a classic bassline over undulating organ, occasional effects and even a drop of Madness for good measure. Just add sunshine….
