Here is another rather marvellous EP from Christian Nielsen from Denmark. ‘Do It’ is one of those simple, stomping tech house grooves that slays with its subtle layering of nutty clucking tongue and weird wobbly synth whip effects, dogs scratching at fleas hi-hats and not much else. It’ll make you laugh, dance and sweat and well, just do it – whatever that it might be. ‘Lost Groove’ is darker, more urgent with a house-y Jon Cutler ‘It’s Yours’ sounding off beat snare, a sinewy bass and mangled vocal snippets thzt will make you sing involuntarily in tongues. It’s ten degrees cooler than putting your head in the freezer during a heatwave.
