Fake Blood
Fix Your Accent EP
Cheaper Thrills

With the echo’s of the club banger ‘Mars’ still ringing in our ears Fake Blood returns with a new twisted affair to confuse us even more over his warped thinking. ‘Fix Your Accent’ kicks off like Spiller on steroids with bodyrockin disco breaks and a bumpy bassline that’s soooo infectious it’s ridiculous, que variations of the ‘Accent’ vocal which sounds like a basic guide to speaking English badly and the groove continues. You have to imagine a Come Dancing disco special from the late 70’s with today’s styling to figure out what the hell is going on, it is very camp but cuts beyond the cheese factor into something very special. Pushing the 70’s eurovision style to the extreme we have ‘I Think I Like It’ which would have John Inman spinning around the discofloor like a crazy fool at a swingers party, it’s so outrageous in it’s design it works. Fuelled by swift edits and disco strings unlimited this has been killing it as THE party anthem across festivals and the bigger floors around the World, all over Radio 1 and dragging you out the closet and onto the floor for a fabulous performance. In a world of serious beats and progressive bleeps this comes as a very welcome relief and puts the smile and razzmatazz back into dance.
