Fuck yeah. Here’s a big bad club banger that’s heavy with the kind of chunky progressive / tech like I love from Mr Padley and Adam Beyer’s ‘Truesoul’ imprint. ‘Damage’ and ‘Veins’ are bangers both. ‘Damage’ is urgent and immediate – banging your head against a violent kick and a relentless rhythm pattern, making you twitch like a paranoid nutter when the laughter filters through, adding 250lbs more pressure with the steam and sustained synth pads and locking you inside your head for seven minutes and thirty nine seconds of Macchiavellian dark tech intropsection. ‘Veins’ strips ‘Damage’ back to the core, then sprouts new shoots via its dinky keys, old skool house drum fills, psycho synths and a freaky angelic chorus. ‘Veins’ is the most interesting, ‘Damage’ is the more immediate – both are welcomed additions to your collection.
