Lee Curtis needs little or no introduction and this release for Visionquest, which features the boastful bravado of Body Twitch as its opener, is set to keep that conversation going. Its dark, bitter-sweet vocal intentions aren’t necessarily to everyone’s taste but then the brooding electronic sounds which accompany them certainly will be. Freaks, which again features Debbie Rennalds retains the same intensity over even funkier rhythms, while Haters has more tripped-out voices and undulating musical pulses finishing off another distinctive release from the label.
