If you like speaker blazing, tech house leviathans then look no further than Noir & Haze’s ‘Angel’ . Ripperton works a familiar Daft Punk ‘DeRezzed’ sounding synth and bass loop around some SunPat crunchy beats and finger snaps. Hot Since 82 delivers a glorious main room peak time dark as blindness, heavy rhythmic roller that is not dissimilar to being swilled around then digested in the belly of Moby Dick. Take it from me, it will have you piston pumping your arms so hard you’ll raise Isambard Kingdom Brunel from the dead and have him building a few more iron bridges and train stations before he leaves. Haze drives the point home with an angrily strummed bassline and a kick that leaves bruises on your arse. You’ll look like a numpty if you don’t have this in your club arsenal. Buy it. Love it. Hammer it.
