The chilled sounds of the summer are over, so it’s time to welcome the warm throbbing sound of winter care of the reborn Royksopp.The glorious eurodisco sounds of ‘This must be it’ sweep over the mind in waves of synth heaven to lift you up and bring that smile back.Plenty of mixes to choose from which are getting plenty of radio 1 support but the Thin White Duke remix cuts above the rest with it’s early Pet Shop Boys piano and production that enhances the euro feel further and brings the vocals out in the mix. As you would expect the detail is special with elaborate synth fx and a build of epic proportions before the bass kicks back in. Also fine productions from Rex The Dog, Apparat, Moguai and Pete Herbert deserve a good mention but we sway for the original mix and goes to prove that the mighty Royksopp has many personalities to keep the dancefloor moving.
