I like the fact that despite the compelling opening ambience of Ryan Crosson’s & Tale Of Us, ‘Angel’ you’re never quite sure what to expect next. However, the track soon progresses into pulsating electronic territory that plays high on atmosphere with swirling synths laying down a hypnotic quality to the production, while imaginative drums and sounds effects do all the rest. But of course you wouldn’t really expect anything else but something challenging from this duo. Ryan Crosson then joins with ex reggae vocalist Aquarius Heaven to air on the side of spiritual as up-tempo rhythms amalgamate with spoken testimony to again produce striking, meaningful music.
