The Time Has Changed label is always a good place to go for fans of useful club sounds, and as well as being run by Acumen, Damien ‘Timid Boy’ Almira is now also involved having previously been associated with the Trax imprint. Here he steps up on his new label with a new hard hitting single that comes with remixes by ONNO and Rhadow. The one original, Extasy, is a barrelling, toughened house track with rave synth smears, classic I’ll house you vocal snippets and lots of raw and sweaty attitude. It’s a real floor slayer and no mistake. As well as an on point remix from Dutch man ONNO, Rhadow serves up a dubbed out, swaggering remix that has lots of lively drum action, a nicely itchy hi hat pattern and lots of loopy bass. It’s a fine warm up or back room cut that will get feet shuffling and heads nodding in no time.
