For many Vitalic – aka Pascal Arbez Nicolas – is a God, a French divinity who, with his legendary ‘Poney EP’ on Gigolo, pretty much invented this century’s new (electronic) rock’n’roll. ‘OK Cowboy’ his debut album is finally coming out in April and will have no problem imposing itself as one of 2005’s albums. The amazing hybrids of techno and electro the Dijon based producer comes up with are just out of this world. If his last single was a little disappointing, ‘My Friend Dario’ is an unbelievable return to form that’s gonna get hammered by all (133 BPM).
