Boy Crisis are a Brooklyn based five piece that are being tipped for big things in 2009. ‘L’Homme’ is their infectious debut release, coming on like early Prince, and taking elements of 80’s funky disco pop then shooting them through with 21st century hedonistic know how, ‘I’m on some drugs, you’re on some drugs, do you wanna talk to me’, declares the oh so hip chorus, before launching into a cheeky bit of Labelle’s ‘Lady Marmalade’. Boy Crisis have already supported MGMT at their New York Halloween show and this is only the beginning.
