“Counterpoint” is the tune that kicked it all off for Manchester’s Delphic, and now it’s back, set to do the rounds again, sounding bigger & better than ever. The DFA’s Tim Goldsworthy gives “Counterpoint” an excellent edit, making it a lot more tighter and punchier, bringing up the lead vocal, then building and layering to total hair raising, E tingling euphoria. Delphic must be doing cart wheels. Now “Counterpoint” is going to be the huge anthem it always threatened to be. Superb.
