“How You Like Me Now” is the second cut to be lifted from The Heavy’s eagerly awaited sophomore LP “The House That Dirt Built”, this single follows the raw and soulful “Sixteen”, which was never gonna be easy, because it’s the single of the year in my book, but The Heavy have stayed with the gritty raw soul vibe, upped the tempo and added a large dose of funk, raising energy levels even higher. “How You Like Me Now” has got James Brown written all over it, you can imagine frontman Swaby charged, sweating and shaking with emotion as he performs on stage, while the rest of The Heavy work him and the audience into a funk fuelled, move busting, mind blowin’ frenzy. The authenticity of the sound is done with the upmost respect and detail, and if this don’t grab you, then you might as well fuck off and die.
