Marketed as remixes, although really, both these new versions are new tracks that instead feature snippets of Lee Newman’s & Michael Well’s old school acid favourite Tricky Disco. Luetzenkirchen’s version is a grinding electro blip-out, buzz saw midrange and slurred beats working well with the Tricky Disco vox and effects – kinda low slung nu-rave electro. Dirty Bird boss Justin Martin teams up with his brother Chris for a deeper, meaner and cooler tech-house number, managing to be both minimal and gritty, keeping the original influences to the occasional well-executed build/drop before a really effective finale. Both sides should have no problems finding a receptive crowd.
