There’s been many bends, curves and changes in musical direction for Tim Deluxe over the years – from the innovative garage sound of ‘RIP Groove’ to the samba pop of ‘It Just Won’t Do’… for his latest chapter he returns to his underground roots for a stark slab of heavy heavy funk of raw analogue electronica. ‘Jack It’ has already won its strips on terraces of Ibiza with key support from Paul Woolford, Derrick Carter, Danny Tenaglia et al. But for me it’s the bleepy ‘Mudpod’ that really lets his creative juices flow.
