Another week, another groin-hoister from Bpitch. This time, Finland’s Juho Kahilainen, who is commendably quoted as saying he’s doing this fun and loves ‘making a fool of myself’. Don’t know about foolish, this is lovely stuff, all dancing synths, blissful piano chords and more of a classic house/techno feel than the label’s customary minimal. Getting MyMy, of Songs For The Gentle fame, is a masterstroke as they whip up a highly-sympathetic, mood-accentuating excursion. Summer has arrived, squirrels are flashing and here’s the soundtrack.
