1. Aphex Twin “Analord” Up to part 4 of this 10 vinyl series. New material from the best electronic artist ever. Even though it’s not truly vintage Aphex material, there’s lots of 303 / Electro and early Ambient Works style tunes. Rephlex.
2. Tubbs “New Way Of Life” Padded Cell remix. This is the favourite production so far from our friends Richard Sen and Neil Beatnik. Loose 80s disco style. Exceptional Records.
3. Syclops “Mom The Video Broke / The E Ticket”. Maurice Fulton track on Tirk Records. The new label from one of our early homes Nuphonic. This is a serious 12” of Junkyard Band style house madness.
4. Mu. “Paris Hilton” Output. Killer old school Chicago groove with added shouting. Another Maurice Fulton tune.
5. Subway “Untitled” This is a new EP coming soon on our own label. Electro in a dark, dance floor vein, and more down tempo spaced out stuff. Threetone records.
6. John Legend “Used To Love You” Really like this song. Kanye West co wrote / produced. Colombia.
7. Dexter “Raw EP” Super produced as usual by Dexter. Fat electro / boogie style tune on A2 is my favourite. Klakson Records.
8. Max Mohr “Trickmixer EP” The tune “Old Song” is like early 90’s rave music from some old Laurent Garnier mix tape or something. Playhouse Records.
9. Boards Of Canada. About 50 tunes and bits and pieces of Boards relics downloaded from Soulseek. Some of these are totally amazing. File was simply called “a few old tunes.”
10. Pleasure “Joyous” DJ Harvey Re-edit. Dodgy looking pressing of a superb extended mix of this classic. Makes the intro build and build, definitely worth searching out.
