Sinclair & Pi have produced a new hypnotic groover based on yet another cheeky sample (a 1982 Scritti Politti vocal here). On remix duties Germany’s Sharam Jey delivers a pumping electrohouse rendition that’s ideal for the big stoned rooms. A few months back Muttonheads (aka Jerome Tissot) made a striking entrance with his quirky debut “To You”. “Smashing Music” its soulful follow up is not quite as addictive (and electro-funk) but is a competent effort nevertheless. On the flip Joachim Garraud, David Guetta’s producer and one of France’s best kept secret, turns out a super-driving rework (in a similar league to “their” recent “Flashdance” remix).
