Welcome to Eskimo’s new sister imprint Suicide. The label’s name and – well designed – logos might be on the tasteless side (hanging rope, razor blades and people throwing themselves off building) but you know that the musical content will not disappoint. First release is ‘Mudcleaner’ by Mugwump (A&R Geoffroy and Spirit Catcher), a one-sided 12” aptly described as narco-electrofunk (think Blackstrobe meets Hardfloor, 124 BPM). Future Beat Alliance (aka Matthew Puffet) is next with a four track EP of old-school flavoured deep melodic techno.
