Live dates announced!
Flying Lotus’ fifth album ‘You’re Dead!’ was unleashed earlier this month to a rapturous reception, now in the midst of performing the record in his biggest North American tour to date – 2015 European headline shows can be announced in cities including Milan, Paris, Zurich, Brussels, Luxembourg, Manchester and Dublin. In addition, FlyLo will headline London’s Brixton Academy, following November’s date at Roundhouse selling out six weeks in advance.
The psychedelic journey through the infinite afterlife of ‘You’re Dead!’ enhances Flying Lotus’ reputation as a singular and visionary voice in contemporary music. And it is a reputation with ever-increasing popular resonance – ‘You’re Dead!’ was a US Billboard Top-20 album, Top 25 in the UK, Top 15 in Japan and achieved FlyLo’s biggest chart success to date in US, UK, Japan, Australia and Germany among many others. The landmark Hiro Murai-directed video for Never Catch Me (ft. Kendirick Lamar) has received four million views in two weeks.
You’re Dead! features Herbie Hancock on keys and lead vocals from Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Thundercat, Angel Deradoorian (ex. Dirty Projectors), Niki Randa and, for the first time, Flying Lotus himself.
