Cosmo Vitelli has long proved he’s one French producer to watch closely. It’s unfortunate that he’s so far not experienced any wide scale recognition but that’s sadly often the case with gifted luminaries. Not only is he an accomplished musican/producer that could easily switch to writing film scores and producing albums for models, he’s also graced of a subtle sense of humour. For his new single on his own Cliché imprint (booh, he’s been nastily dropped by Labels/EMI), he’s covered with panache Reel 2 Real’s huge smash ‘I Like To Move It’. Fear not though the parisian’s only just borrowed the main vocal hook (now whispered by suave Zita Lotis) and has built a completely new glamorous electro track over it, Tekël provides the druggy remix. Eric Morillo’s still getting his full publishing share mind.
