It’s not electro in the traditional sense of the word, but then, it’s not exactly ghetto-booty either, even though it’s got the dirty sleeve image (requisite ass close-up), track title and attitude to suggest that it is.
So what is it? It’s a cut’n’shut job of Miami electro / ghetto-booty / AntiCon rap married to an AV8 party attitude, topped with Baltimore kid Naeem Hanks – the Spank Rock man himself – waxing hyper on the mike. Hear this at home and you’ll be head scratching; hear this in a club and you’ll be jumping off the walls. It’s that kind of record – totally unstoppable.
There’s also acapella action and some handy remixes that throw in nuff eighties references to keep the trash kids happy too.
