Born out of the Bruxelles club of the same name Dirty Dancing is possibly the most exciting electro label right now (and there’s stiff competition).
No beating around the bush here, DD is all about the dancefloor, with much emphasis on essential ingredients such as melody, groove and eventful structures. Its releases are strong peaktime cuts that effortlessly combine old and new electro as well as eighties synths, new-beat, acid – you name it. Brian Raffault, one half of Sweatshop, delivers a truly mystique choon (Sweet Light remix to follow) whereas resident DJ Stephen and Vito De Luca (The Spankers) drop three inspired tracks of various flavours.
